Target Information
Rabbit Beta-Enolase (ENO3) is a glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate. It appears to play a significant role in striated muscle development and regeneration. ENO3 is predominantly found in skeletal muscle cells in adult rabbits, where it may contribute to muscle repair and growth. Additionally, defects in ENO3 are associated with glycogen storage disease type 13 (GSD13). In research, ENO3 is often studied in the context of muscle biology and metabolism, making it an important target for understanding muscle-related disorders.
