Target Information
Mouse Transforming Growth Factor Beta-1 Proprotein (TGFB1) is a precursor protein that is processed into mature transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-β1). TGF-β1 is a multifunctional cytokine involved in various physiological processes, including immune regulation, tissue repair, and cell proliferation. It binds to TGF-β receptors, activating signaling pathways such as SMAD and MAPK. TGFB1 has both pro-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory functions and has been implicated in diseases such as fibrosis and cancer.
