Target Information
Mouse Serine/Threonine-Protein Kinase N2 (Pkn2) is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) superfamily and functions as a Rho/Rac effector protein. It plays crucial roles in various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, cytoskeleton assembly, cell migration, and adhesion. Pkn2 is also involved in tumor cell invasion and transcriptional activation signaling. In the context of tumor immunomodulation, Pkn2 has been shown to inhibit the polarization of M2-type tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in colorectal cancer, leading to suppressed tumor growth. Additionally, Pkn2 interacts with proteins such as Cdo and AKT to promote myoblast differentiation.
