Target Information
Mouse Prolow-density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 1 (Lrp1) is a multifunctional receptor that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including lipid metabolism, endocytosis, and immune responses. Lrp1 is a member of the low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) family and is involved in the uptake and degradation of a wide range of ligands, including lipoproteins, proteases, and growth factors. In addition to its metabolic functions, Lrp1 has been identified as a critical entry factor for several viruses, including the severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV), where it mediates viral entry by binding to the viral glycoprotein Gn.
