Target Information
Mouse Nuclear Factor Related to kappa-B-Binding Protein (Nfrkb) is a transcription factor involved in chromatin remodeling and regulation of gene expression. It is a component of the INO80 complex, which plays roles in DNA replication, repair, and transcriptional regulation. Nfrkb binds to specific DNA sequences and modulates the activity of other proteins within the INO80 complex, such as regulating the deubiquitinase activity of UCHL5. It is expressed in various tissues, including the thymus, brain, testes, spleen, and liver. Nfrkb is also implicated in the regulation of telomere maintenance and cellular responses to DNA damage.
