Target Information
Mouse Noggin (Nog) is a regulatory protein in mice that inhibits BMP signaling. It regulates cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Noggin plays crucial roles in embryonic development, tissue repair, and neuroprotection by promoting neuron survival and regeneration. Changes in Noggin expression and function are an important indicator of tissue damage, repair, and neurodegenerative diseases.
