Target Information

Mouse NAD(P)H dehydrogenase [quinone] 1 (Nqo1) is an antioxidant enzyme that modulates ROS levels to reduce oxidative stress and apoptosis in mice. In diabetic nephropathy mouse models, Nqo1 exerts protective effects by regulating Sirt1. Nqo1 is also involved in vitamin K metabolism and anticancer drug bioactivation. It is expressed in various mouse tissues, including the liver, kidney, and heart, and its abnormal expression is associated with certain diseases.
