Target Information
Mouse Muscle, Skeletal Receptor Tyrosine-Protein Kinase (Musk) is a receptor tyrosine kinase essential for the formation and maintenance of neuromuscular junctions (NMJs). It is expressed in skeletal muscle and plays a crucial role in the clustering of acetylcholine receptors (AChRs) at the postsynaptic membrane. Musk interacts with several signaling molecules, including agrin and LRP4, to orchestrate the development and maturation of NMJs.
