Target Information

Mouse Microtubule-Associated Protein 2 (Map2) is a neuronal protein that plays a crucial role in the stabilization and organization of microtubules in neurons. It is highly expressed in dendrites and is essential for maintaining the structural integrity of the neuronal cytoskeleton. Map2 is involved in various neuronal processes, including dendritic branching, synaptic plasticity, and neuronal survival. In mouse models, Map2 expression is critical during neuronal development and is associated with proper neuronal differentiation and function.
