Target Information

Mouse Leucine-Rich HEV Glycoprotein (Lrg1) is a multifunctional protein primarily produced by hepatocytes and neutrophils. It modulates various signaling pathways, particularly the TGF-β signaling cascade. In mouse models, Lrg1 promotes angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis by upregulating VEGF and its receptors. It also plays a role in acute pancreatitis, where its inhibition accelerates recovery by inducing CCK1R expression via the TGFβ/ALK5/AKT pathway.
