Mouse Glucose-6-Phosphate Isomerase (GPI) is a multifunctional enzyme involved in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis, converting glucose-6-phosphate to fructose-6-phosphate. It also acts as a neurotrophic factor and lymphokine, promoting neuron survival and immunoglobulin secretion. GPI is linked to non-spherocytic hemolytic anemia and is a potential therapeutic target in metabolic and neurological disorders.

User Note

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl (pH8.0) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
