Target Information

Mouse Fibroblast Growth Factor 7 (Fgf7) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family, known for its mitogenic and cell survival activities. It is predominantly expressed in epithelial cells and plays a crucial role in epithelial morphogenesis, wound reepithelialization, hair development, and early lung organogenesis. Fgf7 promotes cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation, particularly in keratinocytes. It has been implicated in various biological processes, including tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion.
