Target Information

Mouse Extracellular Matrix Protein 1 (Ecm1) is a glycoprotein with multiple roles in tissue development and disease. It is involved in cell adhesion, migration, and tissue remodeling. ECM1 is expressed in various tissues, including bone, skin, and cardiovascular systems. In disease contexts, ECM1 has been implicated in fibrosis, cancer progression, and inflammation. For instance, it promotes the migration and invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma cells by facilitating the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT).
