Target Information

Mouse C-C Motif Chemokine 5 (CCL5) is a chemokine that plays a role in immune cell migration and activation. It binds to chemokine receptors such as CCR1, CCR3, and CCR5, promoting the recruitment of immune cells like T cells and macrophages to sites of inflammation. CCL5 is involved in various inflammatory processes and has been implicated in diseases such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, and autoimmune disorders. It contributes to vascular inflammation and endothelial dysfunction by activating signaling pathways like NF-κB and NADPH oxidase.
