Target Information

Mouse Activin Receptor Type-1-like (ACVRL1) is a serine/threonine kinase receptor involved in TGF-beta signaling. In mice, ACVRL1 regulates vascular smooth muscle cell differentiation and is implicated in vascular diseases. It plays a role in maintaining vascular integrity and responding to injury. ACVRL1 is expressed in vascular tissues and interacts with various ligands to modulate signaling pathways. Its dysfunction leads to vascular remodeling and disease pathology. The expression of ACVRL1 is regulated by developmental and pathological signals, making it important in both normal physiology and vascular diseases.
