Target Information

In felines, toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) is an important intracellular pattern recognition receptor that identifies unmethylated CpG DNA from pathogens, thereby activating innate immune responses. TLR9 is expressed in myeloid cells of the immune system, such as dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells, and initiates downstream signaling to mediate both innate and adaptive immunity. Additionally, TLR9 plays a role in regulating immune cell activation and inflammatory responses.
