Target Information
Equine C-X-C Motif Chemokine (MIP-2beta) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a key role in the immune response. It is produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and is expressed at sites of inflammation. MIP-2beta is involved in neutrophil recruitment and activation, promoting the migration of neutrophils to sites of injury or infection. It also plays a role in wound healing, cancer metastasis, and angiogenesis. In equine research, MIP-2beta is used to study inflammation, immune responses, and the mechanisms underlying various diseases. It can be used as a biomarker for inflammatory conditions and to investigate the effects of therapeutic interventions on immune cell function.
