Chicken progonadoliberin-1 (GNRH1) is a neurohormone that plays a pivotal role in the reproductive system of chickens. It stimulates the secretion of gonadotropins, particularly luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which are essential for reproductive processes such as ovulation and spermatogenesis. GNRH1 is also involved in the regulation of the estrous cycle and the negative regulation of immature T cell proliferation.
