Target Information

Transthyretin is encoded by the chicken TTR gene. It is a 55 kDa homotetrameric protein found primarily in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and blood, with each subunit containing 14 kDa of 127 amino acid residues in most vertebrates. It plays an important role as a transporter of thyroid hormone (TH) and retinol.

User Note
