Target Information

In chickens, inhibin beta A chain (INHBA) is primarily expressed in the reproductive system, particularly in the ovaries and testes. INHBA regulates the development and maturation of germ cells by working in concert with other members of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily. Additionally, INHBA is involved in modulating immune responses, affecting inflammation and tissue repair processes. During embryonic development in chickens, INHBA plays an important role in organ formation and tissue differentiation.
