Target Information
Chicken Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 (FGF3) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family, which plays a crucial role in embryonic development and tissue regeneration. FGF3 binds to fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) and regulates cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and migration. In chickens, FGF3 is involved in the formation of the inner ear and the regulation of cell movement during gastrulation. It also acts as a negative regulator of bone growth by inhibiting the proliferation of chondrocytes. FGF3 signaling through the RAS/MAPK and PI3K/AKT pathways is essential for these processes.
