Target Information

Neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 2, also known as tyrosine receptor kinase B (TrkB), BDNF/NT-3 growth factors receptor, or neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, receptor, type 2, is encoded by the NTRK2 gene in dogs. This receptor is crucial for the regulation of energy balance. In the mammalian central nervous system (CNS), there are three identified isoforms of TrkB.
