Target Information
Canine interleukin-2 receptor subunit alpha (CD25) is a key component of the IL-2 receptor complex, predominantly expressed on activated T cells, and is closely associated with T cell activation. In dogs, CD25 plays a critical role in immune response by modulating the activity of regulatory T cells (Tregs) and effector T cells. It is involved in the maintenance of immune homeostasis and the suppression of autoimmune responses. Additionally, CD25 is a marker for identifying Tregs, which are essential in preventing autoimmunity and modulating immune responses to cancer.
