Target Information
Canine granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (CSF3), also known as G-CSF, is a glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in the canine immune system. It stimulates the bone marrow to produce neutrophils, which are essential for fighting infections. In dogs, CSF3 is involved in the regulation of neutrophil production, differentiation, and release into the bloodstream. It also modulates the function of mature neutrophils, particularly at sites of inflammation. CSF3 is important for the canine immune response and can be used therapeutically to treat conditions associated with neutropenia or to enhance the immune response during infections.
