Target Information
B-lymphocyte antigen CD20, commonly referred to as CD20, is a transmembrane protein ranging from 33 to 37 kDa in size. This non-glycosylated molecule is expressed on the surface of B-cells starting from the pre-B phase and is absent in terminally differentiated plasma cells. In dogs, CD20 is encoded by the MS4A1 gene, which belongs to the membrane-spanning 4A gene family. This family is characterized by shared structural features, similar intron/exon splice boundaries, and unique expression patterns among hematopoietic cells and various non-lymphoid tissues.
