Apolipoprotein A-II, encoded by the APOA2 gene in dogs, likely plays a role in stabilizing the structure of high-density lipoproteins (HDL) through its lipid interactions and influences HDL metabolism. It is the second most abundant protein associated with HDL particles. In plasma, apolipoprotein A-II can exist as a monomer, homodimer, or heterodimer with apolipoprotein D.

User Note
- Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex. Aliquote the reconstituted solution to minimise freeze-thaw cycles.
