Target Information

Candida albicans is an opportunistic pathogenic yeast responsible for causing candidiasis, a condition observed globally across various animal species. Agglutinin-like protein 3 is also known as 3D9 antigen. It is a cell surface adhesion protein which mediates both yeast-to-host tissue adherence and yeast aggregation.
