Target Information
Bovine lactoferrin (LF) is an 80kDa iron-binding glycoprotein that belongs to the transferrin family, found abundantly in milk and other biological secretions. It's renowned for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory functions, which are crucial for host defense mechanisms. LF is also used in infant formula and other food products for its health benefits, including promoting iron absorption and enhancing immune function.
