Target Information
Bovine interleukin-10 (IL10) is a potent anti-inflammatory cytokine in cattle that plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses. It is involved in the modulation of inflammation and the promotion of tissue repair. IL-10 helps to balance pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, contributing to the resolution of immune reactions and the prevention of excessive tissue damage. This cytokine is produced by various cell types in response to immune stimuli and is particularly important in maintaining immune homeostasis and limiting pathological inflammation often associated with various diseases, including those affecting the gastrointestinal tract.
