Target Information
Bovine Inhibin Beta A Chain is encoded by the INHBA gene in cattle. It is a subunit of inhibin which is a potent inhibitor of the basal release of follicle stimulating hormone from the anterior pituitary. In males, inhibin B is primarily produced by Sertoli cells within the testes. In females, inhibin B is mainly produced by granulosa cells in ovarian follicles.
