Target Information

Bovine gelsolin is an actin-binding protein that plays a critical role in the regulation of actin filament dynamics, including the assembly and disassembly of actin filaments. It is an actin-severing protein found in mammalian cells and blood plasma. In Bovine, gelsolin has been shown to exhibit tumor suppressor activity in several cancer cell lines and in nude mice, suggesting its potential role in cancer development and progression.
