Target Information
Bovine clusterin is a multifunctional glycoprotein that is predominantly secreted and is involved in a variety of physiological processes including lipid transport, immune response, and cell protection against stress. It is composed of two chains, α and β, linked by disulfide bonds, and is found in extracellular spaces and body fluids. In Bovine, Clusterin plays a significant role in sperm function, affecting sperm maturation, lipid transport, and membrane remodeling. It also acts as a chaperone to prevent protein aggregation and has been implicated in the regulation of appetite and metabolism.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. It is recommended to aliquot as needed and store at -80°C upon receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4°C for 1 week, at < -80°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
