Rat Corpus Cavernosum Endothelial Cells-Immortalized by SV40T Antigens
Product Overview
Corpus cavernosum endothelial cells line the inner surface of the penile corpus cavernosum sinusoids. They are one of the most fundamental components of the vascular sinusoids and penile blood vessels. These cells perform various physiological functions, such as synthesizing vasodilatory and vasoconstrictive factors, forming the vascular wall, and participating in the exchange of blood and tissue fluid components, thereby playing a crucial role in penile erection. Rat Corpus Cavernosum Endothelial Cells-Immortalized by SV40T Antigens were generated via lentiviral transfection carrying the SV40 gene (these cells acquire puromycin resistance after transfection).
