Target Information

Rat VIPR1 belongs to class A transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors with seven conserved transmembrane helical domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It locates on the plasma membrane of epithelial, immune and neuronal cell populations. Its multi-span membrane sensing structure and tissue-selective abundance distinguish it from soluble secreted cytokines, cytoplasmic scaffolding adaptors and chromatin-interacting nuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and broad expression patterns across common somatic tissues.
