Target Information

Rat USP1 is a cytoplasmic and nuclear deubiquitinating enzyme with conserved catalytic and substrate-binding domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It exists in proliferating somatic cell populations and participates in intracellular protein modification cycles. Its multi-domain protease structure and broad cellular distribution distinguish it from secreted signaling cytokines, transmembrane cell surface receptors and chromatin regulatory transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies featuring tissue-limited expression in terminally differentiated cell subsets.
