Target Information

Rat SKAP1 is a cytoplasmic adaptor protein containing conserved phosphotyrosine-binding domains that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is highly expressed in hematopoietic cell populations and recruits multiple downstream signaling partners to assemble intracellular transduction complexes. Its multi-domain signal bridging architecture and immune cell-enriched expression distinguish it from secreted peptide cytokines, integral membrane receptors and nuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies broadly distributed across non-lymphoid somatic cell subgroups.
