Target Information

Rat retinol binding protein 3, interstitial (RBP3) is a secreted extracellular matrix protein widely distributed in connective and interstitial tissues. It contains conserved ligand-binding domains and a stable globular structure for molecular interaction. This protein localizes primarily to extracellular spaces and tissue stroma, with broad expression in multiple organs. Its distinct secretory nature and interstitial distribution clearly distinguish it from other intracellular and circulating retinol-binding proteins.
