Target Information

Rat Regenerating Islet Derived Protein 3 Gamma (REG3γ) is a member of the C-type lectin family, predominantly expressed in the pancreas and gastrointestinal tract. It plays a role in tissue regeneration and repair, particularly in response to injury or inflammation. REG3γ has antimicrobial properties and contributes to the maintenance of mucosal homeostasis. This protein is also involved in modulating immune responses and promoting epithelial cell proliferation, making it essential for the protection and proper functioning of the gastrointestinal mucosa.
