Target Information

Rat PTPN13 is a cytoplasmic non-receptor phosphatase with conserved catalytic phosphatase and protein interaction domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It shows broad expression across multiple tissue cell populations and forms large multiprotein signaling complexes within intracellular compartments. Its multi-domain signal regulatory structure and widespread tissue distribution differentiate it from secreted peptide cytokines, transmembrane surface receptors and nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies restricted to narrow specialized cell subgroups.
