Target Information

Rat PPP1R15A is a cytoplasmic regulatory protein with conserved phosphatase-binding motifs that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is broadly expressed in diverse somatic cell populations and forms functional complexes to modulate the activity of catalytic phosphatase subunits. Its multi-domain signal-modulating structure and widespread tissue distribution differentiate it from secreted immune cytokines, transmembrane surface receptors and nuclear transcription factors with simplified single-domain assemblies restricted to specific specialized cell subsets.
