Rat PNOC is a secreted precursor polypeptide with conserved cleavage motifs that form stable folded structures under physiological conditions. It is produced within neuronal and endocrine cell populations and released into extracellular interstitial spaces across nervous and peripheral tissues. Its soluble secretory property and multi-peptide precursor architecture distinguish it from transmembrane surface receptors, cytoplasmic catalytic enzymes and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain frameworks and fixed static single-compartment subcellular localization profiles.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 24 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
