Rat Phosphodiesterase 3A, cGMP-inhibited (PDE3A) is a membrane-associated enzyme that specifically hydrolyzes cAMP, thereby reducing intracellular cAMP levels and modulating PKA activity. PDE3A is highly expressed in the heart, vascular smooth muscle, and platelets, where it regulates cardiac contractility, vascular tone, and platelet aggregation.
