Target Information

Rat NADH Dehydrogenase, Quinone 1 (NQO1) is a cytosolic flavoenzyme that catalyzes the two-electron reduction of quinones to hydroquinones. It plays a key role in cellular redox homeostasis and detoxification processes. NQO1 protects cells from oxidative stress by reducing quinone substrates and preventing the generation of reactive oxygen species. This enzyme is also involved in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways and is essential for maintaining cellular health and preventing oxidative damage.
