Rat MYO1C is a conserved class I myosin motor protein with a modular structural organization. This protein concentrates in cytoskeletal and membrane-associated subcellular compartments across diverse tissues. It retains stable molecular folding and conserved domain arrangement under physiological conditions. Its unique motor protein architecture and subcellular distribution differentiate it from secreted factors, nuclear proteins and extracellular matrix components.
