Rat MB is a conserved small globular protein with a compact heme-containing fold. It adopts a typical helical structure and accumulates prominently in striated muscle tissue. The protein maintains a stable monomeric conformation and retains highly conserved structural motifs under physiological conditions. Its muscle-specific enrichment and heme-binding architecture clearly set it apart from secreted cytokines, nuclear regulators and transmembrane protein families.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 24 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
