Rat lymphocyte specific protein 1 (LSP1) is an intracellular actin-binding protein highly expressed in hematopoietic cells. It contains conserved actin-binding domains and phosphorylation sites that maintain structural flexibility and molecular interaction. This protein localizes mainly to the cytoplasm, cytoskeleton and membrane protrusions of lymphocytes. Its distinct domain structure and immune cell-restricted distribution clearly distinguish it from other actin-binding regulatory proteins.
