Target Information
Rat Ki-67 protein is a nuclear antigen associated with cell proliferation. It is present during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2, and mitosis) but absent in resting cells (G0). Ki-67 is widely used as a biomarker to assess the growth fraction of a given cell population. Its expression correlates with cell division and is essential for maintaining the proper progression of the cell cycle.
