Target Information
Rat Alanine Aminopeptidase (ANPEP, CD13) is a zinc-dependent ectoenzyme that removes N-terminal alanine from peptides, controlling local hormone levels and amino-acid uptake. Constitutively expressed on brush-border membranes of kidney and intestine, on endothelial cells and on subsets of myeloid cells, it offers a convenient, species-specific marker for luminal epithelia and for tracking monocyte/macrophage activation. Highly specific antibodies deliver crisp immunostaining and reliable flow-cytometry readouts without cross-reactivity to related aminopeptidases, ideal for renal, vascular and inflammatory studies.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
