Target Information

Porcine hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF1a) is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in cellular responses to low oxygen levels. It regulates the expression of genes involved in angiogenesis, erythropoiesis, and metabolism, helping cells adapt to hypoxic conditions. HIF1a is stabilized under low oxygen and degraded under normoxic conditions. It forms a complex with HIF-1β to bind to hypoxia-responsive elements in target gene promoters.
