Rabbit Anti-Mouse Vitamin D Receptor (VDR) Polyclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse vitamin D receptor. It is purified by protein A. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse vitamin D receptor.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse vitamin D receptor (VDR) is a 50 kDa nuclear hormone receptor that binds 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D₃, targeting vitamin-D-response elements to regulate calcium homeostasis, bone metabolism and immune modulation. Its N-terminal DNA-binding zinc fingers and C-terminal ligand-binding domain present unique, species-restricted epitopes ideal for antibody generation; anti-VDR immunoreagents detect both unliganded and liganded receptor in nuclear extracts, fixed sections and immunoprecipitates without cross-reacting with other nuclear receptors, providing a precise read-out of vitamin-D signaling.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
